Fit to View

Used to fit one or more raster images to a view(s). This can also be done by using the MicroStation Fit View tool. If desired, the tool settings can be set in order to only Fit to View raster images.

Tool Setting	Effect
Mode	Sets whether all raster images are fitted to the view, or just those that previously have been selected. All Rasters — Fits all raster images that are set to be displayed in a view. Selected Rasters — Fits only those raster images that have been selected previously. Raster files may be selected in the list box of the Raster Manager dialog box, or they may be selected graphically with the Select Rasters tool.

Select Rasters

To fit all raster images to a view(s)

Select the Fit to View tool.

Set Mode to All Rasters.

Select the view(s) to fit.

To fit selected raster images to a view(s)

Select the rasters to fit (via the Raster Manager dialog box or graphically, using the Select Rasters tool).

Select the Fit to View tool.

Set Mode to Selected Rasters.

Select the view(s) to fit.
