Place Callout Leader

Use it!

Used to place a leader with text and a callout specified shape in a file.

Tool SettingEffect
Callout

Sets the shape of the callout type: Circle, Box, Hex1, Hex2, Diamond, Triangle, Pentagon, or Octagon.

Leader

Sets the type of leader to go with the callout: Bspline, 2 Point, or 3 Point.

Terminator

Sets the type of terminator (or pointer) to go with the leader: Filled, Hollow, Open, Terminator Cell, or None.

Text

Defines the text (up to five characters) that appears in the callout.

To place a callout leader
  1. Select the Place Callout Leader tool.
    The Place Callout Leader settings window opens.

  2. Choose the desired callout shape, leader type, terminator and the text to appear in the callout.

  3. Enter a data point to define the location of the terminator.

  4. Enter a second data point to define the location of the callout.

    Left: Callout Leader with B-spline leader. Center: Callout Leader with 2 Point leader. Right: Callout Leader with 3 Point leader. To Place a Callout Leader: Enter a start point, which is the terminator end (1). Define the location for the callout (2).
