Place Detail Marker

Use it!

Used to place a detail marker (or circle) around a detail to make it stand out in a file by pointing to it and listing a reference number.

Tool SettingEffect
Reference #

Defines the reference number that appears on the top line of the detail marker.

Sheet #

Defines the sheet number that appears below the line of the detail marker.

To place a detail marker
  1. Select the Place Detail Marker tool.
    The Place Detail Marker settings window opens.

  2. Choose the desired reference number and sheet number to appear in the detail marker.

  3. Enter a data point to identify the center of the detail circle.

  4. Adjust the detail marker circle around the desired location.

  5. Enter a second data point to accept the edge of the detail marker, defining the size of the circle.

  6. Enter a third data point to define the location of the reference marker.

    Required text is input via the tool's settings window.

      

    To place a Detail Marker: Enter a data point to define the center of the detail circle (1). Enter a data point to define the size of the circle (2). Enter a data point to locate the reference marker (3).
