Text Editor window controls

This section covers the controls in the dialog box Text Editor window.

Tab ruler

Defines tabs stops in text and allows you to place text with tabs and indent first lines and paragraphs. Selecting Indents and Tabs opens the Indents and Tabs Settings dialog box, selecting Tab Schemes opens the Tab Schemes dialog box, and selecting Save Scheme opens the Save Scheme dialog box.

Apply

Applies changes made to text in the design file after editing existing text.

Reset

Clears the Text Editor window of text.

Spelling

Opens the Spell Checker dialog box if any spelling errors are found in the text currently in the Text Editor window. If no errors are found, the status bar instead displays the message, “Spelling Check Complete.”
