WYSIWYG Text Editor window

Used to view special characters and see how they will look after they are placed in the design file. In this optional Text Editor window, text looks the same in the text field as it does in the design.

Text field

Use this field to enter, edit, and delete your text. It appears just as it will when you place it in the design.

Apply

Once you have edited the text in the text field, click the Apply button to replace the original text with the edited text.

Settings

Opens the Settings dialog box, which is used to manipulate the display of keys and rows in the WYSIWYG Text Editor window. The default number of rows (buttons) is 4, and the default button size (pixels) is 24.

Status

(Underneath the text field) Shows the corresponding keystrokes (if any) for the character you enter.
