Bring to Front

Use it!

Used to bring a raster image forward in the display stack, in a view(s). Where raster images overlap each other, you can use this tool to rearrange the order in which they display.

Action

Sets the amount that the raster image is brought forward in the display stack.

  • To Front
    • — Brings the selected raster image to the front of the stack. That is, where there is an overlap, the selected raster image will appear in front of the others. In the Raster Manager dialog box, the selected raster file will appear last in the list box.
  • One Step
    • — Brings the selected raster image forward one step in the stack. That is, where there is an overlap, the selected image is brought forward one position only. In the Raster Manager dialog box, the selected raster file will move down one position in the list box.
To bring a raster image to the front of the display
  1. Select the Bring to Front tool.

  2. Set Action to To Front.

  3. Identify the raster image.
    The selected raster image displays in front of all others.

To bring a raster image forward one position in the display
  1. Select the Bring to Front tool.

  2. Set Action to One Step.

  3. Identify the raster image.
    The selected raster image moves forward in the display by one step.
