Define Cell Origin

Use it!

Used to define the cell origin (the point about which the cell is placed). See To create a cell for information about creating cells.

To define a cell origin

1. Select the Define Cell Origin tool.


2. Enter a data point to define the cell origin.
   A “+” displays at this point.
   The origin stays active and displays until the next time the Define Cell Origin tool is selected.


3. Reset to accept the cell origin.
   or
   Return to step 2.

It is often helpful to snap a tentative point to preview the data point to be entered in step 2.
