Edit Tags


Use it!

Used to edit a tag(s) that is attached to an element.

To edit tags
  1. Select the Edit Tags tool.

  2. Identify a tag.
    or
    Identify the element to which the tag(s) is attached.

  3. Accept the tag or element.
    If an element is identified and tags from more than one tag set are attached to that element, the Edit Tags dialog box opens and shows the names of the tag sets to which the attached tags are members — continue with step 4. Otherwise, a different Edit Tags dialog box opens; its title bar identifies the tag set, and its list box shows the name, value and display status of each tag in the set — skip to step 6.

  4. In the Edit Tags dialog box, select the tag set whose member tags you want to edit.

  5. Click OK.
    A second Edit Tags dialog box opens. Its title bar identifies the tag set you selected. Its list box shows the name, value, and display status of each tag in the set.

  6. In the list box, select a tag to edit.

  7. (Optional) If the tag value is variable, to edit it, key in the new value in the Value field.

  8. (Optional) To keep the tag from being displayed, turn off its Display setting by clicking the check box.

  9. Repeat steps 6-8 for each additional tag you wish to edit.

  10. Click OK.

Key-in: EDIT TAGS

The Change Text Attributes tool is used to change the text attributes of the text in a tag.

In the Edit Tags dialog box you can tab between values and sortable columns.
