Cell Counter

Cell Counter gives you the ability to count cells in the active file, active model or all models, as well as reference files. The description is displayed if the cell has been placed as a shared cell, or if the cell library is attached or in the cell list. If these conditions are not met, only the cell name will be displayed. The cells are counted by level and name, so if the same cell exists on two different levels, the cell name will be displayed twice, once for each level.

Cell Utils

Cellutils groups cells in a grid so they can be placed into a design file or plotted to create a 'book' of cells. The utility also displays the last modification time and date stamp for the model/cell. This utility requires MicroStation version 08.00.04.00 or later.

When a cell library is upgraded from pre-MicroStation V8 version to MicroStation V8, it is important to correctly set the working units. If you receive a cell library from an outside source, however, this may not be under your control. The following MicroStation Visual Basic application allows you to rescale large collections of cell libraries using the batch processor in MicroStation and a simple command. Also included is an interactive version of the application that can be used to rescale all the models contained within a design file as well as a detailed article written by Mark Anderson of Bentley systems, Inc.

Dindim.ma allows you to place MicroStation dimensions in compliance with the DIN standards. The tool allows for rounding and superscript of the decimal portion of the dimension text that can be saved to a V8 Dimension Style. The style can then be used to create the desired dimension. This requires font 182 or any font that supports superscript numbers. This utility requires MicroStation version 08.00.04.00 or later.

This utility adds specialized detailing functionality to the Bentley V8 Generation. It includes tools for placement of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing symbols, datum symbols, surface finishing symbols and welding symbols, as well as a symbol editor and works with both MicroStation V8.1 and Bentley PowerDraft.
