Place Flag

Use it!

Used to place a flag.

Tool SettingEffect
Scale

Sets the scale ratio used to determine the x size of the raster element in master units. A value of 1.00 results in a raster element that is one master unit in width.

Level

Sets the level on which the flag is placed.

Class

Sets the flag's class — Primary or Construction.

Transparent

If on, the background pixels (black) are transparent.

Image

Sets the source image file. The image size cannot exceed 320 pixels square.

Browse

Opens the Select Image File for Flag dialog box, which is used to graphically select the image file.

To place a flag
  1. Select the Place Flag tool.

  2. Enter a data point to position the flag.
    The Define Flag Information dialog box opens.

  3. (Optional) In the dialog box, type the explanatory message (tag value).

  4. Click OK. To place more flags, return to step 2.
